Ceramic and Porcelain Tile
Ceramic and Porcelain tiles come in many different shapes and sizes. They are square, plank (rectangular) or large format. Any of these types of tile can be used on the floor, shower remodels, accent walls, fireplaces and backsplashes. They are manufactured materials. Great care and expertise are required to install these types of tiles to avoid problems such as uneven surfaces and lippage. Floor prep is always needed before the tile can be installed.
Natural Stone
Natural Stone is a natural material fabricated into a standard shape for flooring or other wall tile installations. Some tiles need to be sealed and later polished. Upkeep for these types of materials can be costly but their performance is unmatched.
